Lab was a strange Pokemon. Unlike anything anyone at Cinnabar had ever seen.
I found him on the edge of the water near the gym. He wouldn't let me touch him, but he did follow me home. No one wanted me around after that, though, so they made me leave the island. Eventually, I wound up all the way in Sinnoh.
Lab and I were walking along peacefully when an officer stopped us.
"Little girl," he started, "I don't know what that...thing is that's following you, but whatever it is, it needs to be on a leash. We enforce the leash law around here."
I frowned. "Mister, I can't even touch Lab, how can I put a leash on him?"
"You have the hands to do so. I see you have a leash on hand. Here, let me show you..."
I tried to stop him, but my words weren't faster than the officer's hands. He screamed in pain, pulling back what was left of his arm as he fell to the ground. It was completely gone clean up to the elbow, not a trace of blood or torn cloth. It simply...vanished. The officer wouldn't stop screaming, though.
"Wh-what the hell is that damn thing?!" He demanded. I shrugged.
"I call him Lab. Others call him a monster. But most people only know him by one name."
I stepped back as Lab advanced on the officer, who was starting to cry as it enveloped his lower torso. He was screaming twice as loud, now.
"...MissingNo."

"Yes! They missed! Quick, strike them down with a Scratch before they get up!"
My Charmeleon - Thomas - was relaxed and confident. He had barely any scratches on him, and the few he did have were nothing. Why the hell anybody would send a Caterpie out to face a Charmeleon was anyones guess. The trainer wasn't even a Bug Catcher! Oh well. An easy win for me, I guess. There was suddenly a loud cry. I looked up and saw that the Caterpie was defeated. Oddly, however, Thomas was still attacking, as if filled with a burning hate for what he saw.
"Woah! Calm down, Thomas! No need to KILL the poor thing!" I called out to my friend. He blinked and s

Curiosity...
Did you ever hear that old saying?
"curiosity killed the skitty"?
Well... I certainly wish I had...
It was a bright morning, the sun was rising past the distant mountains, making the clouds look cotton candy pink. The dew on the blades of nearby grass dripped onto my legs as I ran- my egg was hatching earlier than expected, and of course we were in Ursaring country.
I looked back to my shedinja, following closely, and nodded.
He quickly ran in front of me and led me to the edge of the bear pokemons territory.
Just as we crossed into the safety zone, the egg glowed with a blinding light.
I shielded my eyes, and when the light had diss

Nurse Joy sighed, resting her chin on one hand and tapping the counter with the fingers of her other. Mt. Silver was such a lonely place. So few trainers beat the Elite Four and fewer still could even trek across the foothills of the infamous mountain to reach her Pokemon Center. She sighed again and listened to it echo across the empty lobby, shifting her weight and gazing out the windows, almost blind with boredom.
When she'd been asked to run the Pokemon Center at the foot of Mt. Silver, she thought she'd landed a dream job. Because of the lonely conditions, as well as the fierce winters, she was promised a hefty sala
