CQ 7- Hell of a Cosplay

Chamberli was sitting on the edge of a cliff overlooking the ocean, her wings blowing in the breeze. What had she become...? She placed her head in her hands; removing her hood, she began to cry.

She'd killed in cold blood. Her friends feared her. And Suianna....Skannah....what would they think? What if she was...

No. She refused to think that way. Mokkan erupted from his pokeball. Sitting beside his owner, he stared off into the sunset.

"...Guess you hate me too, huh?" She muttered.

"Marro..." He shook his head. He could never hate her. Not after everything they'd been through; after everything she'd done for him.

He felt a bit odd...like he envied Runshi. In the way that Runshi was human; that he could embrace her, tell her everything he felt towards her, that he could...that he was like her....a human. He longed to be human. To embrace her; to kiss her and tell her everything would be alright as long as she trusted him and her partners.

But this would never happen...could never happen. Right? He stared down at the sea now, almost to the point of what Chamberli believed were tears of pain and sorrow. He was madly in love; but it would be unrequited because he was not the same.

No. They would never be the same.

He stared up at the sky. A very bright star was in the middle. Pokemon believed this to be Jirachi watching over them. With all his being, his heart, his soul; Mokkan poured out his feelings to the Wishmaker, and prayed that she would hear him. That she would make him human.

Chamberli had slept outside instead of in the building with the others. She realized that she only had five pokemon with her. Mokkan had gone missing!!

"M...Mokkan?!" She scrambled up. Who would do such a heartless...

Heartless...just like her.

An extremely realistic Marowak cosplayer came around the corner. His heart raced as he saw Chamberli.

"Master~!" He cried out joyously. Shock dawned upon him. He was speaking that human language...English, Skech had called it? He looked down to see human hands...human legs....human clothes. He was human! Jirachi had heard his wish.

But how strange would it be to hear someone call you Master? He had to think fast now. He could not tell her the name she had given him.

"What...??" She turned. "What did you call me...??"

"Ah...that's the name of my Houndoom...he's the boss!" Mokkan joked. Chamberli giggled. He loved her laugh.

"You're kinda cute, you know...my name's Chamberli...but I'm sure you knew that."

"No...I don't think I've heard your name before. My name's Mok--....MIKE. My name is Mike." He quickly lied, catching himself. Good. He could go by Mike.

"Mike? Just...Mike? No Mikebone or Mikkowak?" She quizzed, confused.

"Yep. Just...Mike." He grinned. Chamberli shook his hand.

"Nice to meet you." She grinned. This hand-holding caused both of them to blush and turn away. Obvious and instant chemistry passed through the pair. "Hey Mike...?"

"Hm?"

"I lost my Marowak...can you help me find him? He goes by the name of Mokkan."

"Yes Ma...Ma'm." He caught himself again. She shrugged it off, thinking he was just nervous around girls. She could learn to get used to that.

Chamberli and "Mike" had become stunningly closer than ever. They'd become close friends, dated, and had become boyfriend and girlfriend in what seemed to be three days; but was actually three weeks.

Throughout these weeks, there were no more Rocket sightings, and Chamberli had remained remotely calm; especially around Mike. Mike had stopped "stuttering" around Chamberli, and had completely forgotten he was a pokemon, except for the occasional attacks used in self defense with his giant bone he carried around. Attacks that looked very similar to Bone Club, Bonemerange, Bone Rush and Skull Bash.
